Healing well
A tattoo is an open wound for the first few days and a healing one for a few weeks after. Following these steps keeps the linework crisp and the colour saturated. If anything looks or feels wrong, call the studio — we’d always rather hear from you.

02
Wash with clean hands using lukewarm water and a fragrance-free soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel — never rub.
03
Apply a thin layer of aftercare salve or unscented lotion two to three times a day. Too much product suffocates the skin.
04
No direct sun on a healing tattoo. Once healed, sunscreen is the single best thing you can do to keep it looking sharp.
05
Avoid pools, hot tubs, baths and open water until fully healed. Showers are fine.
06
Flaking and light itching are normal. Picking scabs pulls ink out and can scar the piece.

We stock our own aftercare salve made with natural ingredients — the same product we use in the studio. Pick one up at your appointment or grab it from the shop.
